PEOPLE TELL ME THAT I AM SOMEHOW DIFFERENT... AND OCCASIONALLY EVEN A BIT WEIRD

Hello there!

My name is Filip Pesek.

I’ve always found “about me” pages amusing because they’re written in the third person, even though most of the time… how should I say… the site owner writes them : )

That’s why I’ve decided to do this in my own voice and in a friendly tone.

So, what do you want to know?

I’m 188 cm tall. With blue eyes. And blonde hair. Kind of like Ryan Gosling… but better.

My wife Nastja does not agree with all those statements (she claims that I am only 186 cm), but she nevertheless loves me… she loves our son Mateo… and she loves our 5-year-old King Charles Cavalier named Zara.

Anyway, you’re most likely not here for these details.

You’re probably wondering…

If this interesting fellow from Slovenia can help my business or my career?

To be honest… for many, the answer is “NO.”

If you’re looking for get-rich-quick schemes that will skyrocket your business or career without effort, I’m not your guy.

I also don’t think we will work well together if you are not open to new ideas and perspectives or if every critique – no matter how constructive – feels like a direct personal attack.

And while we’re at it, say you are generally a “grumpy” character with a negative outlook on life that blames all others for their (lack of) success… well… this won’t be a good fit either.

But don’t worry!

If you’re still reading this and didn’t see yourself in those descriptions, then there’s still hope for us.

So let us talk about 3 simple options…

1. Free Stuff

In case you haven’t heard of me (sorry, my mistake), you can start by exploring some of my free content online.

If you speak Slovenian, this is ultra-easy because I posted a ton of content from 2016 to 2023
(see youtube, podcast, etc.)

If you do not speak Slovenian, this is a bit harder at the moment because English content is still being filmed.

But…

Since you’re still reading this, I know you enjoy the “written word,” so it would be smartest for you to subscribe to our newsletter created for busy CEOs and founders who want to take their business to the next level.

Or… or… or… if you prefer, you can get my book in Slovenian and see for yourself if Slovenian is really the hardest language to learn, ha.

This is a picture from Celovska Road in Ljubljana, taken in early fall 2018. No AI here. And the billboard really had no words on it : )

2. Business Solutions

In case you really, really like me and want to spend time with me personally, the best option is 1-on-1 consulting tailored to you and your needs.

But to be honest…

That’s not my main focus.

I only take on those projects when someone is either really interesting, pays me a lot, or both : )

Anyway…

Most of my time is spent with my team, where we’re creating some serious magic.

My first company, Spark Agency, specializes in helping service-oriented businesses (retail, online, or a mix of both) achieve their goals and dreams through the use of direct-response marketing.

The second company was born from the challenges the first company caused and for those who didn’t want to hire us.

I know it sounds weird, but let me explain…

Often, when our sales team talked to a founder or CEO, their main objection for not purchasing wasn’t “what if this marketing doesn’t work,” but rather “what if this actually works and we achieve rapid growth.”

At first, I didn’t get it, but when I dug deeper, the CEOs & founders told me they were worried because they could barely handle their current workload. They were already working 200+ hours a month. They were already juggling too many tasks… and people.

We also had occasions where this problem didn’t exist initially, but when we flooded their business with leads, they quickly became overwhelmed and couldn’t manage the influx effectively. This taught us the importance of not only driving growth but ensuring our clients have the infrastructure and resources to sustain it.

That’s why we developed a business solution named DonnaPro

It is built specifically for CEOs and founders who want to save up to 60 hours a month (which they can then allocate to family, travel, growing their business… or even competing in a world frog jumping contest).

Quite amazing, huh?

3. Dream career

Nike Founder Phil Knight once said, “Life is growth. You grow, or you die.

And I agree with that.

Now – if I want my companies to grow and serve more people, I have to constantly expand my team.

Or to be a bit more direct…

We are always hiring great people!

If you are one of them, you can see if there is something for you in the links below.

But first – some context.

Spark Agency is a Slovenian based company that has been on the market for 5 years. It is a stable company that expects to grow from 10% to 30% each year. I was its CEO for the past 4 years and I recently passed this role to an amazing leader named Sara.

I did that because I wanted to shift my focus to DonnaPro, which is essentially in a hypergrowth phase and needs me as the founder and CEO to achieve something that has rarely been done before. The vision there is quite ludicrous, but if you are someone who likes challenges and wants to be part of a team that takes a company from 0 to 50M € in revenue in less than 5 years… well… this might be the place for you.

The choice is yours.

Have fun,

Filip Pesek

P.S. If you do not like anything you found on this page (come on, at least you could have clicked on the world frog jumping contest, the competition is really fierce this year), that is still fine with me.

I’d like to tell you that I really appreciate your time and I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. <3
